Hardee Hat Pin often called a Jeff Davis with museum tag which reads “From Battlefield of Bryce’s cross roads Mississippi” – The date the museum accepted the plate is listed at 1932 No. 1505 and is from the Edwards museum economy, Indiana – This has been in my personal collection for many years

Hardee Hat Pin often called a Jeff Davis with flat or coin button, lead buck, and leather grommet – All four of these items dug by me at Hatcher’s Run and marked HR-2 – Other items marked as well – I remember digging this quite well for a friend of mine asked me what I had dug and I held it between my two fingers. It sprang from my fingers and took me almost 45 minutes to find it.  It must have hit a limb and went a different direction
