3" - 2.94 Confederate Mullane Note very pronounced mold seams Complete Sabot section missing wood time fuse These are the most pronounced mold seams that I have ever seen Iron in excellent condt, marked only where they knocked off the lathe dog Note pc. of wood attached When I found this shell this pc. of wood was adhered to the shell. In order to electrolysize it, I had to remove the pc. and re-attach Very nice shell This Mullane is a good example that the Confederates were deploying the Mullane as late as 1864. Otherwise I would not have recovered it at the Battle of Wilderness Marked W-517 |
